What You Need to Know
The dash and 5k are going to take place on Sunday, April 28, and you need to be there by 8 a.m. The event will last until noon, so be sure you have your whole morning free before you register. The race will be at Old Mill Park right here in Fredericksburg.
Dash and 5k
This year, the dash is just for the little ones. Kids ages 12 and younger can participate. Your little ones are going to love dressing up like superheroes before they start their run. On the other hand, everyone can join in on the 5k. Strollers and well-behaved pets are even allowed. Whether you’re a runner and want to give it your all or you simply want to stroll along while talking to your friends, you’re welcome to participate.

Strong for Dom
The proceeds of this event are going to an organization called Strong for Dom. This organization does amazing work to help fund research and raise awareness for childhood cancer. Therefore, when you participate, you really are playing the part of a superhero. Do your part and come on out to this 5k if you want to support kids who are suffering from cancer.
