Everyone loves the classic story of the little red-headed orphan and the wealthy man who turns her whole life around. Now, you can watch the heartwarming adventure unfold live on stage in Fredericksburg when you get tickets for Annie at the Riverside Center for the Performing Arts. This beloved family musical will stay with you long after the cast takes a final bow and the curtains close.
The Show
In case you’re unfamiliar with the story, it follows Little Orphan Annie on her quest to find her parents, with some help from her ragtag band of orphan friends and wealthy businessman Mr. Warbucks. Along the way, there is plenty of singing and dancing, laughter, adventure, and maybe a tear or two. With a talented cast including Sally Struthers as the formidable orphanage matron Miss Hannigan, this production of the family favorite will excite and engage audiences of all ages.
The Venue
Featuring Broadway-caliber shows and three-course, waiter-served meals, Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is a favorite showplace among theater lovers. The theater is located at 95 Riverside Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22406. Tables seat up to six, and you can choose a ticket that includes dinner or one for just the show. Tickets including dinner can be purchased online through the Riverside website, but show-only tickets can only be purchased by contacting the Riverside Box Office.
Performances are running now through November 17. There are Wednesday and Sunday matinees and evening shows Thursday through Saturday. Dinner and show tickets are priced as follows:
- Adults – $72
- Seniors 65+) – $67
- Children (3 to 12) – $48
Show-only tickets are $53 for adults and $37 for children. Note that the dinner service ends 45 minutes prior to the beginning of the performance. The menu includes salad, bread, a choice of entrées, and dessert. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and children’s menu options are available.
