Hard Times for Parmalee
Parmalee may be pretty famous now, but things weren’t always easy for the group. The music didn’t take off right away, so the bandmates had to work a wide variety of odd jobs to make it work. Many of them worked jobs that involved manual labor, which means they truly worked hard to make their dreams come true.
But their struggles in life and in music didn’t end at just having to work hard. In 2010, two men tried to rob the group at gunpoint after the show. This was clearly a terrible situation, especially because it led to band member Scott being hospitalized for a full 35 days due to severe gunshot wounds. He spent 10 days in a coma, and doctors said he had about a 5 percent chance of survival. But he pulled through, and the band has continued to make amazing music. Now, you can see what these musicians can do when you attend their show. Make sure you buy your tickets as soon as possible!
